Eastern Mandate Transformation Project
The Eastern Mandate Transformation Project (THE LIGHT AMBASSADORS) is a non-governmental and non-profit program of the ORISH EL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES(OCDI) geared towards life and societal transformation.
About the Community
‘Orish El’ is Hebrew language, meaning ‘Light of God’! The ORISH EL GLOBAL COMMUNITY is a group of people from various fields of endeavor who have resolved to enthrone righteousness, equity, and justice in their daily lives based on kingdom principles and natural laws to restore the Kingdom of God on earth as He originally intended. We strive to realize the Divine Will: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is done in Heaven”, Mt. 6:10.
The Eastern Mandate Transformation Project employs the Kibbutz System which the nation of Israel used to develop its Agricultural Sector. The Eastern Mandate wishes to replicate the Israeli Agricultural Revolution in the Eastern Region. The Eastern Mandate Transformation Project marks “the making of a ‘New Global Community’, beginning with turning of Ala Igbo into an economic hub for Africa”! It is about transforming the common people at the grassroots into great minds that will establish and develop great communities in the East where equity and fairness, righteousness and justice, unity and love, trust and truth, honesty and selfless service reign. The Eastern Mandate is bringing about major SHIFTS from the transactional leadership style ravaging Africa today to a transformational leadership approach where the masses reclaim their world, improve their world, and make their world a better place for themselves.
It is a project to solve the ironical puzzle (at least, in Eastern Nigeria) of Nigeria being the most religious nation on earth and yet the corrupt capital of the world, and a foretaste of Hell on earth! We are out to bridge the gap between the spiritual and the so-called secular. We strive to be “the salt of the earth and the light of the world” in our dealings with fellow human beings, as directed by the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:13-14).
